Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of cpaasdirectory.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
1. What this Site is
CPaaS Directory is an independent editorial directory covering the Communications Platform-as-a-Service market — cloud providers supplying programmable voice, SMS, video, messaging and adjacent APIs. It publishes descriptions, categorisations and comparisons of third-party providers. It is a reference work. It is not a CPaaS vendor, is not owned by or affiliated with any provider it lists, and does not resell, broker, or provision any provider's service.
2. No professional advice, no recommendation
Everything on this Site is general information published for the purpose of orientation and comparison. It is not procurement advice, legal advice, regulatory advice, engineering advice, or financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy from, or to avoid, any provider. Telecommunications and messaging carry real regulatory obligations that vary by jurisdiction and by use case. Do your own evaluation and take your own professional advice before committing to any platform.
3. Accuracy, and the limits of it
We compile listings from publicly available sources and review them editorially, but the CPaaS market moves quickly: pricing changes, features ship and are withdrawn, companies are acquired, and providers rewrite their own documentation without notice. We make no warranty that any listing is current, complete, or accurate at the moment you read it. Always confirm pricing, capabilities, coverage, compliance posture and contractual terms directly with the provider before relying on them.
4. Outbound links and third-party sites
This Site links to provider websites, documentation and other external resources. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, pricing, or the terms on which they deal with you. A link is not an endorsement. Our editorial policy on linking is set out in the link policy.
5. Editorial independence and inclusion
Inclusion in this directory is an editorial decision. We do not sell listings, and payment does not buy inclusion or position. We reserve the right to list, decline to list, reorder, amend, or remove any provider at any time, at our sole editorial discretion and without any obligation to explain the decision. Any commercial relationships that do exist are set out on our disclosure page. No provider has a right to be listed, and being listed creates no relationship, agency, partnership, or obligation between us and that provider.
6. Advertising
This Site does not currently serve third-party advertising, and it runs no advertising or tracking scripts. If that ever changes, sponsored or paid placements will be clearly labelled as such and will be disclosed on the disclosure page, and this section will be updated before any such content appears.
7. Submissions
The submission form on this Site is not currently connected to a backend and does not transmit anything. We say so here rather than let the page imply otherwise. When a working channel is in place, the following will apply and this section will be updated before it does: if you submit a provider or send us information, you confirm that you are entitled to send it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge; you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, reproduce and publish that information as part of the directory; submission does not guarantee a listing; and we may edit any submission for accuracy, length, or house style. Do not send us confidential information, and do not send us anyone else's personal data.
8. Acceptable use
You may read, link to, quote briefly with attribution, and share this Site. You may not: scrape or bulk-copy the directory to build a competing product; republish substantial portions of the content as your own; misrepresent the Site's editorial positions; interfere with the Site's operation or security; or use the Site in any way that breaks the law.
9. Intellectual property
The editorial text, structure, categorisation, comparisons and presentation of this directory are our copyright. Provider names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used here nominatively, for identification and comparison, which does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.
10. Availability
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of this Site or your reliance on anything published on it — including any decision to engage or not engage a listed provider — whether the claim is in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is governed by the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The revised version takes effect when posted here, and the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
16. Contact
This Site does not currently have a working contact channel. The domain has no MX records, so no address at @cpaasdirectory.com would receive mail, and the on-site form does not submit anywhere. We would rather record that limitation here than publish a route that silently loses your message. A channel is being provisioned and this section will be replaced when it exists; see section 9 of the privacy policy for what this does and does not affect.
